Silk Ocean

Silk Ocean was my final project for CMU's Kinetic Fabrics course. I worked with Robert Petruska to create a 25-foot-long installation. We installed hand-dyed silk along a hallway in order to achieve a rippling effect in the fabric. As you walked through the installation, a billowing wave would follow you to the other side.
